Make time for your body

It always seems like there is just not enough time in the day to make everything on your to do list disappear.  It then becomes a matter of prioritizing your "to dos" to get the most important tasks off the list.
There are obviously a few items that should come before the gym but your body should always be at or very near the top of your priority list.  If you look  for time to make it a priority, you will never find it.  You must make  the time to make your body and your health a priority.

Whether you have to get up earlier or even stay up later, leave work a little bit earlier, or DVR your favorite show for another day, you must program your mind to do these things to reach your fitness goals.

Today I had to prioritize my workout and get up early to fit one in.  If you  know me at all, you know that this is one of the biggest struggles for me.  I am not a morning person and I do not enjoy working out in the morning at all but I knew this day was coming so I saved my recovery workout for today so that I had a less strenuous workout when I had to push myself to do it in the morning.  Plan ahead and your priorities will always be that much easier to accommodate.

This prioritizing doesn't just stop at finding time for the gym.  Finding time to go to the grocery story or pack a healthy lunch are also things that you have to learn to prioritize over the convenience of the drive-thru window.

There's no one else that can make your health a priority besides YOU.
