Fresh start Monday

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, I promise. My absence on the blog is almost as horrible as my absence has been in the gym - but not quite. 

I promise I will talk about supplements, I haven't forgotten, but life has just gotten in the way lately. 

Between business trips and a wonderful vacation, I have fallen off the track a little but today is the day that I get back on track. You see, Monday is always my fresh start. Most people hate Mondays but I love to think of Monday as an opportunity to start fresh - every week. 

I log my workouts by weeks and each week starts on Monday instead of Sunday. Whether I completed 7 workouts last week or only 2 (the truth is 2..), Monday is day 1 all over again - a new opportunity to get it right rather than dwell on the things I left undone last week. 

I also try to carry this fresh start idea into my diet. No matter what I ate or drank during the weekend, I can start clean on Monday. If I'm home, I always go to the grocery store on Monday to make sure I have the fresh food that I need for the week.
