My life has been pretty busy since I last updated you. I spent the 4th of July at Ocean Isle Beach and actually spent a whole weekend in South Boston.. crazy, I know. This weekend I finally made it back to Raleigh. I was excited to see friends, family, and my sweet puppy that I hadn't seen in weeks but I wasn't looking forward to all of the errands that needed to be done.
Friday night I enjoyed dinner, shoe shopping, and Harry Potter with my lovely friends!

But after all the fun, I managed to lock my keys in my car... good job, Corinne.
Saturday was full of lots of errands, spending lots of money, a hair cut, and a much needed family dinner. Needless-to-say, I was exhausted. So, I of course decided to drive all the way back to South Boston so I could sleep in my own bed... probably not one of my brightest ideas.
What did I learn from my 24 hour Raleigh adventure?! First, always tell your hairdresser half of what you actually want cut off because it always ends up being shorter than what you were hoping. Most importantly, I've learned that I apparently enjoy the easy living of South Boston even if I can't go shopping whenever I want. I have only lived in South Boston for about 6 weeks but I'm already overwhelmed by Raleigh when I go home. Sounds like another South Boston weekend on my horizon...
