Mental health

Today's workout: P90X YogaX
(I did skip about 10 minutes because it's an hour and a half long..)

Your mental health should be just as important as your physical health.  Oftentimes, the two go hand-in-hand.  One of my biggest motivators to workout is my stress level after a long day in the office.  My workout is my release of that negative energy.

Today, I just didn't have enough energy for an Insanity workout but my stress level was through the roof.  A pedicure with a friend should have done the trick but a stressed out bride in the salon was stressing me out even more (though I can't blame her).

Long story short, today ended up being a yoga day.  I needed a break from the intensity of my Insanity workout and a good stretch, too. 

So, don't be afraid to mix it up when your body is telling you that you need something different - just DON'T GIVE UP!
