Double Duty

In about four weeks I will be making my way back to Raleigh... at least for eight months.

This week I bought furniture and signed my lease!  I am beyond excited about my new place. :)

Last week, I announced through facebook that I will have two jobs during my time in Raleigh.  Many of you 'liked' it and many of you were confused by it.  Well here's the explanation...

In March, I will start my new position in Marketing Communications.  In this role, I will help plan the biggest ABB event of the year known as Automation and Power World.  This event takes place at the end of April (and over my birthday!).

After APW, I will transition into an Inside Sales role while I continue to work in Marketing Communications.  I will be thrown into the position head first since I will be covering the position for someone quickly leaving on maternity leave after my arrival.  This will be a great next step on the sales track!

After her return from maternity leave, I will transition back into Marketing Communications full time until my third rotation.

Of course, as with anything in ABB this is all theoretical so the reality of the situation remains to be seen.

Now that we have this question answered, I'm sure many of you will start asking me what the next step is... good question!  But we won't know the answer for at least 6 more months so give me a break people!  I'm just taking everything one day at a time.
